Profile

Marc Warrington Architects is an Auckland based architecture studio established by Marc Warrington in 2020, following experience with leading architects David Chipperfield Architects in Berlin and Fearon Hay Architects in Auckland. Projects include 246 Queen Street Refurbishment and Houses in Queenstown and Piha.

Current projects in design or construction include a new single-family house and the redevelopment of homes and baches in Auckland.

Biography

Marc Warrington is a designer who lives and works in Auckland. He studied Sculpture and Visual Art before graduating from ETH Zurich in Architecture in 2012. He qualified as a registered architect in Berlin in 2017. Distinctions include the Jakob Wilhelm Mengler Prize 2007.

His career began in 2008 in Berlin, collaborating with David Chipperfield Architects on large and complex residential and cultural projects throughout the world, alongside smaller scale projects. His work in New Zealand began in 2018, working with Fearon Hay Architects on a number of residential and commercial projects throughout New Zealand.
